I'll have to remember that one Brian. My employer of up until last Friday is also one who constantly says he will "look into it" - so much so that a couple of us purchased a large, ornate circular mirror and mounted it on the wall in his office.

After the initial shock - he did have a sense of humour.

Went to the skin specialist last week, got 4 sunspot things scraped off,& 11 burnt off, took 20 minutes, had to pay $360 before i was allowed to leave.

Will get a bit back, but it seems to be less & less, the "gap" seems to be getting bigger & bigger.

Do you think it has affected your umm apreciation, of that part of life?"

That's scary. Wonder how much a proctologist's chair would cost ???

That's interesting... I wonder if someone ordered surplus equipment anticipating future expansion but by the time the order came through, their staff budget got slashed?

I know a few defence dentists and have it on good authority that it can take years for paperwork to replace outdated equipment to come through. So much so that by the time it gets approved, the equipment itself can become outdated. I wouldn't put it past some bright spark to order equpment prophylactically.

Dentists do make decent money, but not as much as you'd think from the fees they charge. Their fees also pay for a dental assistant, a receptionist and a whole bunch of consumables, many of which are single use. Then there's rent, capital equipment, insurance, CPD etc etc...
