I wasn't happy swapping between on road and off road applications all the time on one device
So I have a Tom Tom 340? XL and a HP Ipaq running side by side.
The Ipaq runs Oziexplorer with various off road and topo maps.
Both together provide full range of functionality and information.
For touring with the occassional foray into bush tracks, works well.
The Ipaq's getting a bit long in the tooth now so I'll probably upgrade to OziExplorer on an Android device. There's some good Android pads coming out.
If your not worried about brand names have a look at this one I bought one a couple of months ago it has igo 8 and i loaded oziexplorer ce works great the windscreen mount could be better. I havnt tried to run both igo and ozi at the same time but have been told they will
7" GPS HD Car Navigation+Wireless Reverse Camera+4GB (eBay item 350384036671 end time 06-Apr-11 21:20:32 AEST) : Electronics
whewre you guys all get the igo and oziexplorer etc ?
The unit I linked to has igo preinstalled I download ozi ce from the ozi site cost was I think $40.00 for the lic version it worked straight away downloaded some free maps but also bought hema explorer cards $20.00 each SE nsw and NE nsw
I use the Garmin 60CSx as well - it has now been superseded by tthe 62S which is even better. The GPS performance under trees etc is flawless and aquisition is pretty fast too.
If the speed of light = 299,792,458 m/s, what is the speed of dark?

						Hey The Booger,
Thanks for the link to your GPS, had a look at it, but just a few questions please.
1. Does it have Advanced lane guidance?
2. Does it have P.O.I.s?
3. Would the reverse camera work on an attached camper trailer?
4. Can you download some screen shots of the various screens?
5. Can you add any other features not listed in website please?
Many thanks in advance
1.yes
2.yes it runs igo 2011 version so it has more options than i have worked out how to use
3.yes but you will need power to the trailer or long power lead has its own transmitter with camera
4. not at the moment I am at corowa
5.the website covers most cant think of anything extra at the moment but i downloaded ozi ce from the ozi site and run that off road and it worked first time
