Appears outwardly to nicely integrated with alot of useful functions
Dont know how it could be "Plug and play"

I have looked as well, also at the similar unit listed from Hong Kong. At least this one they have a picture that seems to show an actual D3 installation. I asked for more images on the HK listing and they sent a LR image showing the factory system, not the one advertised.

Plug and Play: I think not.
Note: They recommend mounting the single DIN head unit in the glovebox.

This one of those things where I won't be the first to buy and try.

Instead I am looking at one of the single DIN units available (including OziExplorer) and replaceing the standard (basic system) audio plus adding the UHF to the second DIN slot.

Better off buying a good portable Garmin or similar GPS. You can move it between cars, have cheaper map updates and most probably have a much better user interface.

I optioned sat nav on my BMW, cost $4200 and is absolutely crap.
