    Double DIN GPS

    So I want to put a GPS in my Defender but I cant decide what route (pun intended) to take, I like the idea of a permanantly installed one so I think I want to get a Double Din on something like this

    My assumption is I can get TomTom software or the like for general GPS and then install OziExplorer for off road.

    Has anyone tried doing this before? (on a double DIN instead of portable)

    Where can you get the GPS software is it available for purchase?

    Just about to do the same, using the Mud console to hold the unit. Some of the eBay ones run Windows CE so can be made to run Ozi as well as the onroad nav. Once I find a model that does, I'll report back.

    I found the ones on eBay a bit more expensive than the ones on Ali.... Anyway I will let you all know how it goes the unit is on it's way apparently.
