Ranga Special - Time Issues

I have a "Ranga Special" that has been running great for a few years. I updated the Igo Maps from another GPS I bought about 12 months ago and it has been running great but recently a 'time' problem has developed which is more annoying rather than a problem.
When you boot up the Ranga is runs up OK and when it finds the sats it shows the correct time. I have time zone set to Sydney (-10) and adjust for daylight saving set in Win Ce - as it is in Tom Tom, Igo, and Oziexplorer.
If I start with Tom Tom or Oziexplorer there no issues and the indicated time is all correct.
However if I start with Igo the time is correct for about 5 mins but then it starts jumping about - either 1 hour behind, one hour in front or on time - it stays on each for about 10secs before randomly selecting one of the other two times. If you leave Igo the problem continues in the operating system time and if you then select Tom Tom or Ozi it is all over the shop. Looking at the time in the GPS, the GMT time is always correct so it is not the time from the GPS module that is at fault.
It would appear that the Igo time is corrupting the operating system time by an hour + or - which in turn is corrupting the software that relies upon it.
The other 7" Gps I have, has the same Igo and Oziexplorer on it (no Tom Tom) and does not have the same issue (though Igo will not read height from the GPS but Oziexplorer will).
Any ideas as I am stumped - I have tried reloading Igo from an early back up without success. As I said not a great issue as the ETAs on Igo are always way late so I tend not to use it but annoying just the same.
