Thread: Mud Maps

Any app that can use OZF maps from OziExplorer? Seeing that there is no iOS version on the horizon, I'd like to re-use all my existing maps and tracks. BitMap has been flaky.

Third party ozi support is a bit hit and miss. Most apps rely on an open source library to support oZf maps. The problem is that library was written in Europe and has never supported the projections used in Australia properly. The result is apps silently fall back to latitude and longitude alignment and the this introduces an error that varies across the map. Support for things like maps which span more than zone are also missing.

So the answer is "not really".
