    Navman My Escape.

A couple of months ago I purchased the above. this week was the first chance I had to use it in anger. I went Brisbane-Newcastle-Benalla-Melbourne-Ballarat-Brisbane, each leg was programmed as a separate journey. On multiple occasions, on each leg, the device froze. Sometimes the audio stayed up to date while the screen was frozen, other times the machine completly stalled. A friend had the same problem with a cheaper, four year old model earlier this year. Are there any known issues with the Navman soft/hardware?

I have a Navman MY50, never experienced anything like that in 3 ~ 4 years of ownership. On 'Whirlpool' there is a section for GPS devices. A rep from Navman regularly answers posts and queries re Navman products.
