Oziexplorer 3D

Just got a copy of Oziexplorer 3D to go with the main program, there's going to be a lot of ups and downs when we hit the high country

Cool, keen to hear what you think of it. Still learning to use the main program at the moment, but a great way of uploading routes to the gps..

What are peoples views on Oziexplorer in general? I was considering getting a copy prior to heading off around Oz? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards

Now that I have untied myself..................

I've had the program for around 3 years and use it in conjunction with a Lowrance Globalmap 100. I've also got the Nat map Raster CD's which are needed to enable me to plot my courses.
I've had no experience with other programs but I find it reasonably simple and great to plot my trips with waypoints and download them into the GPS.
When I return from a trip I also download the tracks from the GPS into the computer and then can see on the map in Oziexplorer just where I've been and if I like can save that track for future reloading into the GPS for a return visit.
The 3D ,Timmo, although new for me puts a new dimension (no pun intended) into the planning, especially when going into undulating country, the maps of the High Country are awesome, try downloading the trial version and picking off some sections of the Howqua trails in the Warburton map of the Raster series, I,m very happy with the 3D program although I've only had it a week
