    I use mien as a speeedo and to find addresses /intersection

    When theres a war on they offset the GPS systems to stuff everyone else up. Well so I've heard anyway....it's all a big conspiracy you know. :wink:

    The satellites that the GPS uses are in controll of the US military so there are deiberate errors sent out. Thats why they are never spot on.
    This can be even worse when Uncle Sam is on alert and playing war games. It has been known to be out upto 10km during Desert Storm1.

    That is for standed gps systems.

    The DGPS system is more accurate as it uses additional ground based beacons to help correct the US military errors.
