Thread: Battery replacement Navman My Escape

Has anyone replaced the battery in Navman My Escape 2 Model N382 ?
Ive removed the screws on the back, but there must be some plastic lockingtabs inside. Thought I would ask before getting brutal
Ive done a google search without success. Any advise appreciated

Didn't need to get brutal. After removing the screws in the back, just gently prised the back. Unclipped the speaker connector and docking port ribbon connector for better access. Unplugged battery and replaced with LP-850.

Put it back together and charged overnight

Restored firmware from Navdesk and all is good.
