Mapsource is one way of downloading it (the garmin software), but if you have oziexplorer that does it better :wink:

i save my trackes from my easter trip and was hoping to offer to those that are attending the aulro boonah trip in may.
i'm buying the cable that will connect my gsp to my pc today. do i need any software to be able to download the files so that i can send to others.
i will post on gps aus as well but though i will get a quicker response from the gurus here.

I think so. I use OziExplorer to download from my Garmin Emap.

why the bloody hell don't they supply software with the gps
i remember gpsaustralia saying i could use EasyGPS to upload routes and waypoints, just had a look and it looks like i can download from the gps as well, will see how it goes
