Have a Garmin Quest, whist quite good - the screen was a little small, and it wasn't a touch screen...but it did give you the facility to pre-plan your routes on your PC and load them uo to the unit

I have now ordered a TomTom 710 which seems to have all the bits I needed - touch screed, routing with the PC,POI's red lights and internet auto updates

Will transfer the Garmin to the wifes car.
