			IPAQ and MIO

I have a MIO 720t as well as the IPAQ maybe I could just keep the IPAQ for street guidance and convert the MIO to OZI EXPLORER. How does MIO take those maps mate? Does it work okay on them?

Mios can be customised to run OziCE, as does the iPaq 312, and Navmen.

I have a navman and picks up GPS really quickly apart from when moving . But that is only a little longer . But that is in My company car

Also what car is this in
Because the defenders have been know to cause problems to GPS because the wind screen is too flat and therefore the roof gets in the way. When i was competing, alot of the defenders drivers had external areial for this . But don't know if the new GPS's are better now and you don't need this

Yes, they're a lot better. When in the Defender my GPS60cx and other SiRF III based units don't require an external unless conditions are very, very difficult, eg down the bottom of a deep, narrow gully or something. In fact these units can often pick up a signal inside a building. Worlds better than older ones like the GPS V, GPS II+ etc.
