Thread: Which GPS Navigation unit???

    For on-road stuff then (i.e. SatNav) I would get the new "TomTom One", It's about $360 (JB HiFi) at the moment with the latest Whereis v14 maps installed.

    If you want on and off road mapping then either the Magellan Crossover or the (to be released in the next few weeks) Magellan Triton range.

    Those Triton's look excellent with the camera and voice recorder, etc, but I'll be they'll be expensive!

    I have read some reviews on the net and was thinking somewhere along the line of a Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS Navigator. But the price is a bit steep. So I will have to look closely at the Tomtom.

    What are the differnces between the two?
