    South Australian Digital maps

    Anybody have any South Australian digital maps suitable for use with OziExplorer?

    50,000:1 topo maps sets are available from SA Govt already calibrated for Ozi.
    Set of 6 CDs
    Not cheap though ( $1081 for the set ).
    If anyone has them so we can try them out, please let us know.

    I got the raster maps on a dvd(2).....
    Much cheaper than the cd's.
    Think it was around 350 mark.
    Available anywhere you buy hemma maps.

    Go to www.gpsaustralia.com. you can get maps off that site for nicks....

    I make a lot of my own maps now using gMapMaker (google it)

    It allows you to combine google street maps detail with satellite imagery and create ozi compatible maps. all for free

    Sure, doesn't match topo maps, but for the price ...

    Couldn't link to gpsaustralia.com but found out it is .:GPS Australia:. or .net instead of .com

    I'm keen to get a copy as well, including NT's maps if available. I'm hoping to do a simpson crossing mid august & head off the plenty hwy to meet ross river hwy on the way over.
