Thread: Route Help Please

Strange, put this same post yesterday but it seems to have vanished. Please excuse me asking again if I have just mislaid the original post.

Anyways...... When I plan my rout on the Garmin Mapsource software which uses street routing and then load it onto the Colorado 300 it seems to convert it to a direct point to point instead of the road based route that it was created in.
Even if I change profile on the Colorado back into road based function it still gives a straight line from point to point.
Any Ideas

Go to the EDIT tab on the main screen in Mapsource.
Select PREFERENCES and then click on the ROUTING tab.
Under ROUTE STYLE, select "USE AUTO ROUTING."
Then run your routes and upload to the Colorado.
