Thread: Nokia 6210 Navigator

With Nokia now realeasing GPS receivers in most of their new release handsets perhaps the continuation of a dedicated Navigator might be soon redundant ( perhaps not ) , but for those you who highly rate their must-have navigation on their list of phone features would be pleased to know that I successfully installed Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian and uploaded City Navigator 2008 via Mapsource onto my Nokia 6210 Navigator & I can't wait to start using these maps to take advantage of the features such as the auto-routing and the voice guidance for navigation.

I know of folks who have successfully installed these maps on a Nokia 6110 nokia navigator.

now next challenge is to get TomTom maps working on the Nokia 6210 Navigator.

Q:

I downloaded Oztopo V1 which is a large file in Gmapsupp format from the internet , how Do I upload these files to my Nokia 6210 Navigator ? I tried opening this file in mapsource but it didn't recognise the file format.

There is already a Gmapsupp file that carries map Data for City Navigator 2008 and Shonky maps on E:\Garmin and if I tried to copy Oztopo V1 to this directory it'll try & replace the existing map Data ? Any ideas ?
