Have you got any maps? No good without maps.
There are some free ones if you just want to see how the programme works.

Just downloaded the OE demo. But if they think that demo's helping 'em get sales, have I got news for them!

As said you need maps. Ozi supply you a demo of their programme they don't supply maps at all at any time.

PM me your address and location and I'll email you a few of your area to play with.

    Don't dismiss ozi to easily..

Make sure you read the howto to understand how to use it - you will need to install and use the demo maps if you don't have your own.

Nah, just wondering why they'd have such a basic demo.....

I know it's good stuff, was just hoping to see how it worked from the demo!

You're looking at this the wrong way. Think of it like a program like a word processor or a photo editor. They don't ship with Encyclopedia Brittanica or a library of photos. They're just a tool. The full version of Oziexplorer doesn't ship with maps either. You need to source these yourself. It only take a 2min google to find some that are good enough to try before you buy.

Where are you? I most likely have a few maps of the area.

Ah, I was thinking it was the maps and the program...... So it's just the program and we need to load maps into it!
Does it auto load these maps, or have them selectable on the Ozi menu once they're loaded?

Once you have a selection of maps then Ozi can automatically load the best map as you are driving along. It looks for the most detailed one and loads that. When you get to the edge of that map it will load its neighbour.
