    Will extractors fit?

    Hi all

Currently replacing welsh plugs under the manifold. While everything is apart, I was just wondering if it is worth my while replacing the original manifold with extractors.

Will they fit is my question? I am talking about just standard production extractors available on ebay etc.

    Cheers

My SIII Holden 202 has extractors/headers (not sure which). You need to make sure that the collector pipe drops down close to the block in front of the starter motor or close overthe top of the starter.

You will probably find a header manufacturer that has them for Land Rovers with Holden conversions.

Take a close inspection before you buy. The important factors:
    • Mandrel bends that are not waisted through the bend.
    • All the pipes from the head to the collectors the same length.
    • The correct flow of the pipework to reduce turbulence and restriction to flow. (see image)

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
