    S3 + Holden 253 + trimatic

    Hi,

Has anyone heard of an S3 LWB with a Holden 253 and trimatic that was successfully road registered in NSW?

    Thanks,

    Phil B

No but I had a 253 in an SIIa with a manual box that was registered in NSW and Bobslandies has a SIIa with a 302W/New Process manual while a few had 302W/C4 Ford all registered in NSW.

You would want to see the engineering paperwork and get the original when you buy it.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

ex father-in-laws friend had one with a 253, but think it was manual. Was legally registered in NSW.

About a year ago there were two Series 3 Short Wheel Base Land Rovers that were sold by different vendors on eBay in Queensland. I think they were in Brisbane and were registered and blue plated for modifications.

    Kind Regards

    Slunnie,

Thanks for that. I will check.
In the pictures it appears to still have the red HR/LR lever but I couldn't see the yellow 4WD button. The hand brake appears to be original as well.
I suspect it is 2WD only.
    Will let you know.
