Thread: 179 - Oil pump leak

Hi guys -

I’ve got an oil leak coming from the oil pump body housing/engine block on a 179 (Red) Holden engine fitted to a 2A but according to the original Holden workshop manual the engine needs to be removed to fix! Seems pretty straight forward in the 2A so just checking has anyone had a similar issue/advice? Do I really need to remove the engine?

I'll answer my own question Removed the pump with no issues The Holden manual must be referring to an engine mount on the old EH.
