    Talking Radio Stations when travelling

    Morning all,
When i travell i tend to listen to my favourite station as we all do, now i listen to Triple J & in Melbourne it is 107.5 & from memory in Sydney it is 105.7.
The ABC used to make a listing that was available for purchase & was the size of a credit card & would open up to show all the stations so when travelling i would be able to listen to the one station where ever i go.
Now for all the music junkies it is online..so here ya go.

I only listen to ABC radio, AM, FM including JJJ as I can't stand commercial radio and all the crap advertising And don't watch commercial TV either except if copied to DVD recorder so as to step past the ads, so easy

FM - Thats the PROBLEM !!
AM - Unfortunately in some respects slowly disappearing.

CD/MP3's/etc.... prob the best way to go

OR HF, Tune the Codan to some nice Shortware station or AM, or alternatively have a tune around the Ham bands....

Ah, I am assuming of course country travel...

Podcasts are the go. Free to download and there's some good ones from the ABC. All you need is a CD burner or an MP3 player.

I use Juice as a downloader which does it all automatically.

Really only when the boys in blue are out patrolling...

Yes, I do admit to having the CB sitting on Channel 40, 99% of the time driving outside the main capital cities.

Not good for the younger ears(8 yr old & 5 yr old) in the vehicle

    BUT

When by myself, it can be rather humorous...
