    Programing Tyre Sizes into D3/D4

I know that you can program tyre sizes into the D3 & presumably D4.
My question is if this only works with the standard LR tyre sizes i.e.
    235 x 70 x 17, 255 x 60 x 18 or 255 x 55 x 19.

Could you theoretically program in 265 x 70 x 70 & thus correct the speedo with out detrimentally affecting any thing else?

    Regards

    No.
    Not with LR's SDD system.
    Only Factory sizes.

I have programmed 265 70 17 tyres into my D3 and readjusted the speedo to read accurately using my BBS faultmate

Thanks - any other effects other than correcting your speedo?
Could you describe the process albeit simply.

Connecting the Faultmate server to my OBD socket, and reading the car configuration data through the vehicle explorer program, inserting new data for Rim size, tyre size, aspect ratio and dynamic rolling radius then writing that information back to the ECU.
Then checking the result against my GPS and making adjustments to the dynamic rolling radius until I get the GPS and speedo to agree.

All quite simple, took about 15 minutes.
