    school holidays - anyone heading to Red Centre?

    anyone heading to the Red Centre in July? Just curious!
    We have a convoy leaving Adelaide 1 July - Oodnadatta Track to the Rock/ Alice; two D3's amongst others (black and silver).

    Hi Blackperth
    Im heading off in the second week of school hols, to ceduna ,up the googes track across to glendambo up to cooberpeddey to oodnadatta down to william creek and down throu the flinders. May cross tracks on oodnadatta track will keep a eye out ( normaly on 15 UHF ) My convoy consists of my D3 a D1 a playdough and another jap thing.

    We're going to Inamincka,Coongie lakes (depending on the road ) and Birdsville then back to Brisbane, leaving 25/06/10

    I will be very interested to hear how your trip goes.
    We are doing the same trip (Thargo, Cameron's Corner, Innamincka, Birdsville) in the September holidays.
    I can't wait to get out ther and see how it looks after all of the rain.

    That would be great, thanks.

    I have just heard that the road into Camerons Corner won't be open until November, so it looks like we'll have to spend an extra day or two at Currawinya.
    It might all change before we go, but I'm told that ther is a lot of water around.
