    D3 trailer plug wiring

    Hi Guys
hitched up the new c/van @ the dealers to the D3, last saturday & found that the D3 wiring does not have a power wire connected so I can run the 3 way fridge whilst driving.
D3 purchased 09/2009, was the last one & a dealer demo

on testing the D3's 7 pins, found only 5 were connected. L & R blinkers, stop, park & hopefully an earth. ??
there is another set of 7 pins/socket on the other side of the hitch, (white socket cover)this has 2 power connections. 1 constant & 1 when the ignition is one.
does anyone else have this problem or has this, black socket been retrofitted/altered when the D3's arrive in Aust. ??
so is the best way to get power to the black socket to put a jump wire from the white socket(not the constant pin) to the appropriate pin in the black socket. ????
    appreciate yr advice.
    cheers Tom

    Tom,
There is a way, but need to know what current the fridge is drawing.
If u let me know i will take a photo of how to swap 2 pins to get constant voltage to the fridge at pin no.2 which is normally the aux wire.

There is an Earth & is located on pin no.3

    Cheers
