In my D3 it's at the rear somewhere as when I have enough stuff in the back I can't hear it anymore.

The rear park assist (RPA) on my D3 has always sounded really crappy especially compared to the front which had a very crisp audable tone.
The other day the volume dropped considerably from the RPA. It appears to still be functioning as I can still hear it, just the volume is very low.
I assume these things have a buzzer of some sort fitted which is the problem. Where is it and do I need an LR one or can any jaycar buzzer be wired in, in its place?

The speaker for the RPA is located in the centre of the L/H/R 1/4 panel, just below the glass, It is encapsulaed in another plastic cover.
You will need to remove the inner plastic 1/4 panel to gain access to it.
Good luck.
