You can change the battery but I would check that the induction cahrging is working and there is no loose connections to it.

    Hi xtsubzero,

I had heaps of problems with my keys. Got new ones ordered from Land Rover.

The reconditioned ones from e-bay may work but I would prefer the new ones from the dealer.

    Thnx.

The keys have rechargeable batteries , it gets recharged from the ignition.
So you have to alternate the keys every so often too keep the keys charged.

    Only one of mine works

The one that I have issues with is it will hold only enough charge to lock the doors, you can imagine all the alarms and lights flashing when I have to go in through the passener door
My brother has one of those induction chargers for his kids toys, I was going to try that next before looking in to a new battery or key

Just tape the one that is flat to the key that works for a while and it will charge it if the battery is ok.
