There is a dealer in Dubbo (Heyer Ford). No idea what they are like though, but they sell D3/4 Landrovers. (They don't stock parts for mine!)

Gday...
Anyone recommend (or know of) a reliable service agent in either Dubbo or Albury?
In QLD at the moment but will be heading south soon and will need service before reaching VIC.

I will recommend Blacklocks Wodonga service department. Been using them for about ten years. Great people to deal with.
I've been pretty happy with the service from Lennocks in Canberra as well and maybe not too far out of the way. You'd have to book a couple of weeks in advance though.

Hi Rockylizard the boys on NEVLR all swear by Ivan Clarke motors in Wodonga next to Blacklocks. I have never tried him but he comes highly recomended though I know they are shutting shop for around 6 weeks for a trip.
I have only ever experienced pain and anger at Blacklocks on the occasions I could get service. Sorry Grumbles
I have been to the Dubbo agent and I will not be going back other than for the Small Claims Court in regards to their service on our car. My five cents worth.

Ring LR they are starting to authorise other service agents.
I have not dealt with them for a few years, but 5 years ago I would not take my car to Dubbo LR, nothing but trouble, my 2 cents worth as well

No need for apologies Gillie re Blacklocks - it is just how you find them.
During my time with them they have made a couple of mistakes as all workshops do at times but where they shone was in how they addressed the problem. Without hassle they not only immediately rectified the problem but were generous in offering 'make up'. Wonderfull.

						Agree about dealers.
It is not whether they make a mistake but how they deal with it afterwards.
Alto made a cock up of my suspension bushes and rectified the problem immediately. So I still use them.
