    Discovery3 airconditioner issues

    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can help me with some air con issues with my D3. My air wasn't getting cold even though it was full of gas so diagnosed as a faulty compressor I fitted a new compressor through LR dealer and was fine for about 3 days and now once again not pumping There is a fault reading that power is not getting to the compressor actuator. Anyone had a similar problem or feel you maybe able to help with a fix? Hot up here in the tropics. Cheers Rob

Gee, whilst they had it apart, shame they didn't check the loom for damage or maybe a loose plug.. presumeably the local LR dealer ? (take it back and bitch !!).

Can't say its been hot here Rob, I haven't turn the air-con on unless the SWMBO been in the vehicle.

If you open up your lower glove box depress the side arms as discribed in your manual to access the fuse compartment, if you look up you will see a rectangle box. Pull this out and check it as this is your pollen filter, if it gets blocked it wont allow air to enter into your cars internal cooling system. They retail around $45

Ther is a possibility that they over filled the gas, that can stop the A/C working.
