If you are concerned about water in the diesel, then perhaps Bruce at Davis Performance Landys has what you are after: a "Water Watch" trap assembly - approx cost $350.

SubscriberI have been thinking about an extra fuel filter for the diesel D3 to help with cleaning whats available at the pump out in the country, anyone have any ideas for the D3? either a replacement or additional filter.
No I have not had any problems yet and would like to keep it that way.
Regards,
Ryall

There is also a catalist (think thats how you spell it) made by Doring Industries.
Check it out Doring Industries DoringFuelCat - EASILY Save 10% on your fuel bill
I had one on my LC100.
Cheers, Craig

						SubscriberThanks for the info,
At this stage I am leaning towards the Davis one as its more what I had in mind, something that I could easily check on and empty as required, but I was unsure about being common rail and 17,000PSI and upsetting fuel flow sensors etc.
Regards,
Ryall

The fuel filter on the D3/4 is supplied by a low pressure electric pump the HP pump runs off the engine.
