    After maket Gauges

Can any one recommend a good supplier of a after market gauge set-up for a diesel D3.
    Thinking that I need the following;
    1. Oil Pressure
    2. Oil Temp
    3. Auto Temp
    4. Boost ?

Also integrate with dual battery monitor ?

    Regards,
    Richard

    Wild card option.

I have a Garmin 1490T and an Echoroute HD that I use in Mini Cooper D. I also works in the D4 so I imagine it will work for a D3 as well. You can select from a number of things to display. It will display 5 gauges at a time.

When I do trips with the van attached I fit it to the D4.

    Hi Mowog,
That Garmin Echoroute HD looks like a nice simple solution, exept that would mean going with the Garmin GPS, had set my sights on the HEMA Navigator.

I am having trouble finding out exactly what information Echoroute HD can deliver.

Any chance you can tell me what information you can get out of you D4 ?

Example can you get auto trans temp and engine oil temp ?

    Regards,
    Richard

I don't think it will output those. From what I understand its gauge output is limited to what the manufacturer makes available to the OBDII port.

I haven't used it much on the D4 I have only just plugged it in to see if it works. I use it mostly on my Mini Cooper.

I have the Hema Topo maps coming for my Garmin from what I understand they are the same maps used on the Hema navigators.

You could buy a 1490T and the topo maps and still save money based on the Hema price.
