    D4 on Kangaroo Island

We just returned home from Kangaroo Island SA. The D4 did everything flawlessly... towing, sand, corrugations and gravel. Not to mention getting the beach to yourself on the middle of shool holidays

We are very much looking forward to taking the D4 there in March. Do you have more pictures?

Are the corrugations any "better" .... I went there a few years back and just about lost all the fillings in my teeth !!!! - nice place but the roads sure ruin a good day out.
    cheers

    Nice work.

A photo tip for soft surfaces - get out on the other side of the car you intend to photograph, walk around in a big arc and then shoot across sand with no footprints in it.

I'd have to say that they're much better than I remember when I was there in my D2 several years ago. At one point I had to look at the road to see if there were any corrugations... and there were... I did lower the tyre pressures slightly.

It was an enjoyable moment watching the foreign tourists in their rental corollas going along at 10km/h slapping their teeth together over every bump and passing them smoothly in the D4.
