Thread: This Year.

This year will a bit of an adventure year for the wife and I. We will be doing a Savannah Way trip.

I have been slowly upgrading the D4, for the trip and the 18" wheels are the last step in that process.

We have a new 21 foot Lotus Trackvan Exstream on the way which hopefully we will see in early March. We are planning a test trip over Easter to test the rig and see how far we can go with the new aux tank and hopefully test the 18" wheels.

We are departing from Brisbane on May 21 and returning on 1 July. At the moment there are 2 rigs on the trip. I am putting the details out there to see if anyone else is interested in tagging along. There is safety in numbers on this kind of trip. If you are interested let me know.

I hope to be going caving up that way later in the year to Gregory NP. Longest cave on Aust.
