They are coming, just when seems to be the $64000 question. I was told to expect the new sizes in March 2011 by Dynamic 4x4.

Hi all,
I've been trying to find out if the new General AT which is the same size as the D4's 19" OEM Goodyear Wrangler will be available in Australia.
I've asked on the General Tires website in Australia however the query is logged in the US with an automated reply "the relevant Dept will respond within 5 business days", but until now no reply.
From what I have read on the D3 forum, they are available in the UK
http://http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic55225.html
Does anyone have any information about availability or even suitability for Australia.
Thanks,
Chris

Otherwise order from AJS in the UK. Do a couple of orders a few days apart and you won't pay duty or GST. You will probably find it cheaper than the price when they are available here. Especially with the Ozi dollar being so high.
****An update for those interested****
I spoke to the Australian Distributor of General Tires and the current situation is that there were no immediate plans for this tyre however they will be talking to the US about sourcing for Australia.
I did mention that there should be a market for this tyre and size in Australia as there was little (one only AFAIK) alternate AT tyre for the D4 19" rim. The General AT might be the the second and preferred option.
I'll let you know more as information comes to hand.
