    D3 SNORKEL

    Hey guys,

I have been speaking with the supplier of these snorkels, and the only way can get them shipped out is to purchase them in bulk!

Has anyone seen these one before? Are they any good?

    thanks all

Does not read well. Would you seriously consider fitting one without at least seeing the product in person first ? Compare the spec to Safari. Safari have the reputation. Deservedly. If you are buying out of the UK, try some of the UK suppliers for this brand.

I agree entirely with Admiral. That ad doesn't give me any comfort. Snorkels are really important, get a quality unit such as Safari and get it professionally fitted unless you know exactly what you're doing. Snorkels, especially on cars like D3s, are more than just simple bits of pipe.

Have a close look at the pics, the first pic shows a GENUINE SAFARI. The 3rd pic shows the cheapo snorkel - it is a very different shape and doesn't seem to fit as well or look as good.

Have been looking for snorkel for V6 Petrol D3 and have decided to go with RAI. Ritter's in Melbourne have a process to seal it and make it a proper snorkel which they have said they will share with MR Automotive in Brisbane. Safari don't make a snorkel for the petrol V6 unfortunately.
