When LR asked me if I wanted to purchase the paint treatment for my D4, I asked them what was wrong with the paint on my $100K motorcar...
They backpeddled fairly quickly :)

Do you want fries with that sir?
giskard,
Ignore them. Your car, your paint, your protection !
Enjoy the ride and make sure you get out and get it dirty.
Merry Christmas !!!

It's "Ming" for the 21st century...
Must be the season for it...
Of course after all the hot weather, the day we decided to start our Vic High Country trip it decided to bucket down.
Started off on Davis Plains Tk, but decided not to chance a muddy climb, so long way around to Omeo, then onto Birregun Tk to Dargo (where we were booked into). Of course thick fog (3-5m visibility) on the track, as shown with the D4 at the Dog's Grave,

Hi,
I've been enjoying following threads on this forum for a little while and finally decided to sign up even though I am French and live in the USA.
I drive a 2010 LR4 (D4) 5.0 V8 Lux.
Just installed some 18" LR3 rims with Hankook Dynapro RF10 ATM in 265/65R18 and I'll be getting a IIDTool in the next few days as well.
I'm running spacers (32mm) which I believe are illegal in Australia and I had to grind the calipers (not much).

PS: sorry for the thumbnail
Hi and welcome to the forum Axel.
No need to apologize for the photo - it looks great with a touch of HDR on the streets of Boston!
Yes, spacers are a no no in Australia and there is a limited range of optional rims that are suited to the vhicle's mass. Yours look good with the Hankooks. This site has plenty of info as well as DISCO3.CO.UK or (DISCO4.COM) - happy riding...
The calipers do not touch the spokes but were touching the inside of the rims.
I used the spacers to push the wheels out hoping to align the calipers with a wider area of the rim (rims are tapered and thinner towards the back) unfortunately with the powder coating and really large calipers I still had to grind a little bit of the outer edges of the front calipers.
I'll try to take a picture soon.
