Cape York November 2014
Did OTT north to south starting at Nolans Brook through to Palm creek. Did it all with surprising ease.
Matt.
Last month we took a camprite camper to Moreton Island for nearly a week. We were lucky enough to get cracking weather.
It was my first foray onto sand ever. We did not have any dramas, only took the camper along a short stretch of beach. I was relieved that I did not embarrass the LR/Disco family by getting stuck anywhere.
As a point of interest, I only saw 1 other Discovery of any ilk and it was a white D4.
We are planning the next trip already.

I would love to say I had 19's 'cause that would mean I probably had a 3l; but I have the 'old' TDV6, 2011, so it is a 2.7l , with 18's. While the answer might now be irrelevant, I ran vehicle and trailer at 18psi.

PS- I should say that I am very happy with my 2.7 and performance-wise have never felt that I was going without. It has been the best vehicle I have ever owned.
I just have to settle for a camprite and a D3 - still a great mix:p
Hi all.
After learning to drive in a series 2A and coming very close to getting a 90, we signed our lives away on this badboy today. The colour is far less effeminate in the flesh. Can't wait to set the cruise control and spend many an hour sitting on my ass listening to the 11 speakers of goodness.
What a gorgeous looking machine and the colour i love it!! The 11 speaker stereo is just a gem we have the HK one in ours not the Meridian so i cant comment on them but should hope its as amazing as the HK one and they are a beautiful highway cruising machine as well as great off road!!
