    Aftermarket Audio/nav system for D4

Now that the D4 has been around for a while, has there been any development of an aftermarket audio/nav system. I was hoping at a minimum that there was a 6 stack CD option out by now to keep SWMBO happy.

    Thanks,

    Royce

Might be cheaper to buy an iPod, if you have the iPod interface on the D4?

    Cheers,

I am assuming you mean for the lowest spec radio...

New developments at: DISCO4.COM - View topic - Any Options for Lowest Spec Radio Screen Replacement? but no-one has installed one yet...

The CD player accepts MP3s so several CDs can fit onto 1 MP3 disc.

I see there's some on ebay but I personally wouldn't waste my money(I'm sure they are around $1400). A better solution is a dash mounted Android Tablet (I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab) plugged into the rear aux and a car charger, then you can have music, movies, tv, internerd and GPS all from the one unit and the best thing is it will probably cost you less than $400 all up

    Hi Discostewpot,

Do you know if a rear view camera can be connected? Couldn't tell from their website.

    Thanks,

    Paul

Unfortunately the android tablets have no facility for AV in otherwise they would be perfect.

Sorry Wilbur, as stated, I don't think an input has been sussed for the galaxy tab, it does have a mini HD but as far as I know no one has invented anything yet. Maybe on the next generation GT if we're lucky.

    Would be nice though

    Thanks Geedublya and Discostewpot,

That's a pity, except for that it looks like a great solution.

    Cheers,

    Paul
