    D4 front arm rests

As my wife has nowhere to rest her elbows when driving our D4 I have sourced some genuine black leather armrests from the UK, $500 landed.

Does anyone know if the standard seat frame has the threaded inserts to take the armrests? I can feel the hole through the leather where the rests would be fastened but have no way of seeing if a thread is there without lifting the seat cover.

    thanks for your help

    Not sure.

Does that price include both seats? Console side only I presume.

Where have you sourced them from, I would also like a set.

I have been looking for these as well and checked out the website you mention above. Can't seem to find it using the site search nor in NewParts/D4/Interior/Seats and Fittings or NewParts/D4/Accessories?

Please can you offer any guidance / links? Thanks.

I am very interested in that too for my D3. It is the thing I miss the most going from the old Range Rover to the Discovery.

Please let us know how you go with it.

Absolutely! Would be very keen to fit to the D3 (fabric, not leather).

Put us out of our misery !!!
Seriously though I'd be interested as well - some armrests would be nice.

    cheers

    Brad,
This is one thing i would love!
I have read a lot of the Disco3/Disco4.com replies & have yet to have a reasonable answer & put it into the "to do at a later date" basket.
In the UK the previous spec 10MY vehicle did have an option on a semi base model vehicle to do this, but i am to the belief that the seat base needs to be electric to have the correct upper section for the armrest to bolt to.
Again not exactly sure as the UK have many different models compared to us.
Dont slice anything yet as i will try to see if i can find any info out & if it can be done i will advise ASAP, most likely get a response next week tho'.

Cheers, Can see a group buy coming on here...
