I think that was a long time ago Greg!! I’ve got a L405 SDV8 Vogue that I actually bought in Perth last year - it spent two weeks at Autospark getting a complete upgrade for Outback travel and it’s been brilliant so far, cheers CM

Silly me Chris, I was looking at the start of the thread instead of the end:-) Just a tad envious of your Vogue (I still miss my L322) but couldn't really be happier with the D4 now that it's reasonably well kitted out for touring. Heading for the Munja Track in a couple of months.
How does your L405 compare with the L322 - day versus night I expect?

We must catch up when over your way next - we have opened a Clinic there at Rockingham (Qscan radiology) and opening a 2nd soon. I will give you a buzz when i knwo next trip details.
The L405 is noticeably quieter than the L322, and yes it handles and rides a lot better too. I regret not going for a 2016MY (I have MY17) with the 105l tank and no Adblu. I seem to be using a lot of Adblu (in its 20l tank). Otherwise, very happy!
Will add 20's with 275/55/20 BFG's soon; and Devon 4x4 sell a good set of bash plates by Rival for around 500quid.
A trip to Roo Systems for an exhaust / ECU upgrade (a la my L322) is tempting.......but I cant really justify the expense.
