You will at least get charged GST once the value of the order exceeds $1000 aus.

    Rich,
ULR Malvern (Melbourne) have a heap of ATR's. Not sure what price.

I am not sure whether any taxes would be imposed, especially on larger quantities.

Rich - we should continue on this via PM to see if we do a combined buy, but I thought others might be interested in indicative prices so I have posted these here.
The above pricing calcs are a bit out - using 265 ea and quoted freight figures.
The set of 5 works out at $USD355 ea and
The set of 4 works out at $USD367 ea

Another Sydney area tyre outlet that I have had good prices (on BFG anyway) and service from is Baulkham Hills Tyre King (Ph: 9686 4606)
My only relationship with BHTK is as a customer - ie no pecuniary interests.

    Hi,

I've also just been through all this tyre stuffing around.

I tried to purchase Pirelli ATR before an outback trip. Couldn't get them. I ended up purchasing one Wrangler tyre ($530) as an extra spare before an outback trip. I didn't need it. Then on a shorter trip later I blew a side wall.

Then the Pirelli's I had on order turned up. I ended up buying 6 of them at $435 each.

Net result is that I have a garage (shower actualy) full of Wrangler tyres. 1 has never been fitted. One has about 200 Kilometers on it and three have done 10,000Km including outback (I recon about half worn).

Send me a Private Message if you want to buy any. I'm in Southern Sydney. It will be cheaper than Tempe tyres.

    Thanks Craig,
I found a tyre supplier in Sydney - St George Tyres Arncliff who can supply the Pirelli's Scorpions Zero's for $330 ea!
    Not ATR's though.

Thanks anyway Peter but I will get new tyres as they are a tax deduction!
    Eddomak might be interested though.

$519 for Pirelli ATR's!! - my fav choice
$420 for Goodyear Wranglers - OME
$330 for Pirelli Zeros - Bit soft low k's
$270 for Kumho KL17 - sounds good but asymmetric. Kumho Tyres Australia Pty Ltd | 4WD & Light Truck Tyres

    Thoughts please?

Pirelli ATRs. I bought six of them for $450 each fitted and balanced at Jax Castle Hill. Had to wait about 2 months to get them in some time ago.

Done about $5k with them and very happy so far. No additional noice and better on gravel roads. Havn't done anything muddy or too adventureous beyond that.

I've done 45K on Pirelli ATRs and if I was staying with 19" rims, I don't know what I would fit next. The ATR voids are only half depth on the edges and some of the centre blocks which translates to significantly less tread life than what it appears. I wasn't fussed with their aquaplaning when new but perhaps I expected too much from a pattern that is not very open.
