			D3 stereo removal

Can someone give me advice on how to remove the face plate around the D3 stereo. I'm installing a car kit that connects directly through the car and utilizes the existing system, therefore will need to remove the head unit for access.
I'm sure the face plate clicks off, just don't want to scratch or bust anything.

 Cheers Andrew

Grab the bottom of the silvery h-shaped piece of plastic that wraps around the sides of the whole cente dash area (ie around the radio, the AC controls, and down to the cigarette lighter area, including the air vents near the top), and firmly pull it out towards you. It will come away with a bit of a rush once the little steel clips release. Then you will see all the components (radio, AC controls etc) are simply held in place with little torx screws. Have fun...
