Whilst looking through the FAQ, I read a bit about a plug that can be used to plug one exhaust pipe allowing for the inflation of an exhaust jack.
Where can I buy one of these, as I haven't noticed them in Bunnings or Mitre 10.

Hi,
a rubber bung from a brewing suppliers with a hole through it for a bolt/nut to wind it up tight should do the trick.

						Dangermousehouse,
You can get a custom made exhaust bung from GN Vehicle Protection in the UK - e-mail them for price/delivery cost.
Exhaust Bung - GN Vehicle Protection
I can't comment on whether it's any good, but I've got a quote for them to ship their underbody protection plates and rock sliders to me and I might add a bung to that order - when I've saved up enough for the rest of the stuff to be shipped, that is!
Ducksguts has their rock sliders and has said elsewhere on this forum that they are exceptionally well made.

Hi , I had to make up a stopper for my exhaust pipe as I have a tipping trailer with an exaust bag tipper. I just used a small lenght of rubber reinforced pipe (like radiator hose) , I plugged the end with a poly pipe barbed fitting and a plastic screw end cap (bunnings or rural supplies) and then i use a pair of vice grips pliers (that have a chain - bought at a hardware store ) to clamp the pipe over the exaust pipe - All works fine - been using it for 4 yrs now. Not much cost involved also.

						That's cheap . That's damn cheap !I wonder if that's coming in a container , because I was quoted
GBP25 just for freight on a aluminium comp.cover last year .

Would someone be able to do me a favour and measure the diameter of their D3 exhaust pipe, please?
I'm working away (so haven't got access to my vehicle), and think I may have found something that'll plug the pipe.
Cheers
