    Autologic Performance Tunes..views?

I am looking into user experiences with "Autologic Performance tunes" for a RR Sport TDV6 2.7L......

Good / Bad or otherwise? Would love to here drivers experiences with these guys as i appreciate there are other products on the market.

    Thanks

Booo I had the Autologic remap on my D3. I had it installed just after purchase and sold the vehicle with just over 100,000 km on the clock and was totally happy with it. It provided excellent power and torque gain, so much so that I now have a 3.0 litre D4 and I am not sure that I have gained that much compared to the remapped 2.7 litre D3 (although the D4 is yet to be fully run in). Fuel consumption probably increased a bit - they all say a remap is supposed to be more fuel effecient but they forget that if you have the extra power you tend to use it which means you use more fuel.
    Cheers,
    Barry

Same as you Barry. Had the D3 2.7 with remap, now D4 3.0.
One thing I did notice is the increased torque at low speeds and also towing. Toying with the idea of the remap on the D4, although it would be a play thing only as I dont really think it needs it.

The Disco 3 I purchased has an autologic tune.
Seems to go well, however I don't know how it compares to the stock tune.
It does feel similar to my work associates 3.0L D4 however the D4 has less lag.

One thing I have noticed is when you put the foot to the floor, there is a big cloud of black smoke from the exhausts. There is also noticeable smoke under acceleration when you take off, even when easing onto the throttle.
I am assuming this is just excess fuel, did you guys notice a lot of black smoke on your chipped 2.7s?

    Cheers

    Very generic tune from Autologic...

Look at someone like BAS for a more customised option.

I had an autologic tune in my D2.Yes lots of power, but it was like a 2 stroke moto crosser,as soon as it got boost it went beserk.Wasnt the nicest tune to drive in the city(manual),was perfect for country driving.
I would be looking for something more refined in these later model Discos.Drive one before you buy,as Tombie says there are other options.
