Thread: D3 Air-Con temp jumping with outside temp

Hi,

I have a 2007 Disco 3, and ever since I bought the car I've had inconsistencies with the air-con temperature.

For example outside temp would be 18 degrees, and my inside temp is set to 20 degrees.

If I then drive into a tunnel, the outside temp sensor goes to 22 degree's, and my air-con starts blowing cold air - So much that I have to change the air-con temp to 22 degree's to compensate.

Its as if the air-con temp sensor is using the external one, not the internal one?

Any ideas?
