I use the key fob to both hitch & un-hitch.
I did stuff it up once at my daughters place, she has a steep driveway to a flat carport so the trailer was in the carport & the car was on the drive.
I was not paying attention & when I lowered the car I bent/crushed the jockey wheel because the ball didn't let go.
Embarrassing but no major harm.
On flat ground never had a problem.

It's really good to now know about the key fob I'm sure that will come in handy even with a Trig hitch.
I much prefer Trig hitches to ball hitches for a number of reasons but hooking up is a pain to say the least some times and can cause a few terse words occassionally.

Could any one tell me is the trailer is connected at the off road height will it remain their when you start towing?
I read some were in one of the replys that the rided height will not drop down.

Go above 50kph & the car will lower to normal ride height. Doesn't matter what height you started at, unless you have LLAMs or similar.

Never had a problem hitching or unhitching, always easy. Just always kick myself afterwards, cause i forgot to do the pose thing, and use the suspension to do the hard work of raising or lowering, saving me of winding the jockey wheel. Im just not quite used to the 'feeling' of landrover
