    Remote keys not working

My remote key starting getting intermittent and then yesterday stopped working all together.
I thought it was probably my key so I pulled out my wife's and tried it, still no good.
Read through the manual and it suggested that the keys can lose sync and that the should be left in the ignition with the engine running for 6 minutes. Tried that with both keys, still no good.
Disconnected earth lead to battery and left it off for 4 hours and then tried key re-sync. Still no good.
Searched AULRO and found similar issues but no one posted the solution.
    Anyone?
Will call dealer today and see what they can do.

    re key fob

try putting the key in the door lock and locking the door while pressing the lock button on the key fob then turn key to unlock while prssing the unlock button .
You also might find a solution by going to LandyZone - Land Rover Forum and look on the forums there

Intermittent what .... ? If it's the door opening function
on both keys, then it's not the keys

I've read about how to manually replace the batteries on disco.co.uk. You still might have to have the dealer repair them. The batteries are rechargable when plugged into the ignition, however the batteries go back. It can be re-engineered.

    text description of replacement.

Still on going. Rear doors were not locking as well so I removed both rear door latches and adjusted the locking levers.

I went looking for the connections discussed in the Disco3 posts but could not find them (after stripping out front and rear seats and rear seat carpet).

The remote locking has reappeared intermittently so I suspect it is an issue with a bad connection. Especially since it started working again last night when I was measuring voltages on the cables to the remote antenna.
I plan on removing the hood lining in 2 weeks when I return from Boston and tracing the positive and signal wiring from the antenna unit back.

This sort of fault is a right PITA . You can't beat a totally busted.
I hope you pin it down soon . Wiring !
Mine has just started with intermittent orange-light suspension
fault/normal height only available ! Damn thing resets on restart ,
but occurs again at any time .......... Time for T4/AutoLogic .
