Thread: Flares for D4

Has anyone fitted or knows where I can get flares to fit on a D4. I have noticed with doing alot of dirt road work that stones are being flicked out and hitting my camper trailer despite the mudflaps and the stone guard I have fitted at the rear.

Perhaps you can clarify. The D3/D4 is fitted with flares as std ? A 'hanging' full width mudflap may be what is required to offer the protection you require. However, I do recall viewing an article on fuel consumption, and it did cite this type of mudflap as creating undercar resistance, and impacting on fuel consumption.
