I rang the tyre place but they won't split the set.

Just call into a LR dealer service workshop as they might have the odd wheel stashed away somewhere.

They get damaged & swapped over regularly (so I'm told) so there might be a cheapy lying around.

You say you already have the tyre - what size rim do you need? 17, 18, 19?

I'm assuming your here on holidays and going back to nz at some stage.

I'm south and have a spare set of rims in the garage. If you wanted to borrow one I'm sure we could work something out - like a refundable deposit.

I appreciate the offer and I also have an offer from another forum member of a rim up in Brisbane we could borrow.

I have just emailed Purnells to see if they have a rim kicking round as well.

So if I can't find one to buy we at least have a plan b.

That is the great thing about this forum and landy owners in general..we will stick together and support each other.

I am a member of the NZLR forum back home and we have exactly the same type of camaraderie.

For your guys interest as well as the D3 we have a 300tdi D1 and a 56 86inch back home. The series 1 I rebuilt from the chassis up.
