    ignition/engine on wire

    has anyone found a wire under the bonnet that has power when the engine is running (not just when ignition is on)

    why not grab a VSR from a disco one, hook that up to a relay and then use that to tap the battery or alternators +ve directly?

    You could pickup power from a cabin accessory socket power wire and run it back to the engine bay.
